Life as we know it

I know, I haven't posted in so long. I have been really busy. But immensly blessed. I have two jobs now; on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday, I work for my father in law at his CPA office, Wall and Company. (He is a wonderful accountant, if anyone is looking!) Wednesday through Friday I teach Preschool at Cloverdale Christian Day School, and then close out the day care. It is nice to be able to save the extra money, but I am not sure how long I can keep up this schedule!
We just flew to Kansas the first week in Februray, for my great grandparents memorial service. It was a whirl wind trip! We flew out on Friday morning, stayed all day Saturday, and flew back Sunday. But it was a beautifully bittersweet visit. We were able to see my sister and niece who now live in North Dakota, along with my brother and sister in law who live in South Dakota, and the relatives that still live in Kansas. The memorial service was beautiful and meaningful. It was a nice trip.
Last weekend I went on a women's retreat with my mom and her church (my "old" church) and that was nice to relax with her, see people I haven't in a while, and enjoy some one on one time with my mom!
We are loving our house! I still have a few inside doors to paint, but I may just wait until spring or summer to I can take them outside and paint them. I am already wanting to change the bathroom, which is typical of me. I used to rearange my bedroom all the time when I lived at home. I get bored easily!
We are doing this wonderful Bible study with my women's group called, "Seeing Jesus in Genesis" by Nancy Guthrie. It has been eye and heart opening, and I cannot wait to dig deeper into it!
Life has been wonderful, and crazy, and I feel so blessed with everything that God has given to us. I pray that if He were to take it all away, I would still say with as much joy that I am blessed, because I have salvation! That is the greatest blessing of all!!!!
